Who is The Book Bang for?
The Book Bang is for indie readers, authors, and freelancers. While there are many sites out there for book deals, The Book Bang focuses on when indie books are born, and gives people who love to read indie books the chance to browse the latest releases without needing to follow hundreds of authors on Twitter or Facebook to learn what’s just come out.
Who can use The Book Bang?
Anyone, really, aside from spammers. Those people can go suck it. You can submit a new title for yourself, for a friend, for a client, or for an author you enjoy (though you should probably ask for their permission). Or you can simply browse the site for new books that look interesting.
How do I submit something?
The first thing you need to do is register for an account. After that, simply log in and go to one of the submission pages found at the top right of the site under the SUBMIT option. You will be asked to fill out the post, then once you’re done, simply submit it for consideration. Titles can take anywhere from 1-3 days to be processed.
What can I submit?
You can submit novels, novelettes/novellas (all of these are lumped into novellas), short stories, anthologies, and non-fiction titles. The title must have been released within one month prior to submission. Pre-orders will not be accepted.
Giveaways can be submitted at any point, regardless of title release date.
Launch Parties must be set in the future and should be submitted at least 2-3 days before the date of the event.
How often is the newsletter sent?
At this time, the newsletter has not been launched, but is currently being planned for every two weeks. This may increase as the site grows.
Is The Book Bang an affiliate site?
The Book Bang is an associate of Amazon, iTunes, and Barnes & Noble.
Is The Book Bang free?
At this time, usage of The Book Bang and submissions are free, but this may change in the future. The Book Bang will accept free submissions for the remainder of 2016. The Book Bang will always be free to readers.
